Hi is there anyone out there who can help a new user?
I am looking for some used Dutch/Belgium charts to take me through Tholen to Brussells via Antwerp to include Antwerp Docks. Also any route information/ handy tips and personel experiences that might benefit my new venture.
New charts are easily available but seem quite costly for a once only trip.

Thanks

I attended the Antwerp boat festival last year and the organisers sent me code number to use when entering the dock area, I understand all visiting boats must have one, as ours was sent as part of the event package I don't know how you will aquire one.

IF your heading for Antwerp, Brussels why are you coming through Tholen?

Have you been to Tholen before?
If not keep well to Port as the ground just to Port on the barge jetty is shallow. The overnight/short stay berths are entered through the gap in the yacht club moorings to port. Grub in the YC was good or try the hotel just behind the dyke. The supermarket is a bit of a walk get directions from the HM.

An easy way of knowing when to change courtesy flags when traveling along Tholen-Antwerp canal is the grass is cut in Holland and not in Belguim.

I'll be putting my boat back in the water on 4th or 5th June in Yerseske on the Oosterschelde not very far from Tholen. But sorry no charts to give away, the charts you need are 1803.9, 1803.5, 1803.6 Thess are part of a pack that covers the South of Holland from Breskens along the Westerschelde to Antwerp.

Thanks for your reply, now in possession of Tel. No. for H.Master in Antwerp. My direction of travel is from Willemstad as I have been touring Holland for the last 3 years, and now aiming for Belgium and France. I have not been through Tholen before and have noted your advice. I have posted my request in the wanted section and have been more explicit about my requirements as I'm not looking specifically for freebies.
Thanks again.
