Injectors - when should these be checked/changed?

So a lorry shifting containers up the M Way would have injectors serviced every 8 > 10 weeks :rolleyes:

Could have sworn I was replying to a marine and boat related thread....on a boating forum......
Most of the old Volvo MARINE engine manuals used to state 500 hrs or so.
No idea about the lorry/truck engine manuals. Maybe look on a different forum....roll eyes!

I had mine pulled and reconditioned last winter about 4000 hours 12 injectors all new springs a few nozzles and a fewbit and pieces worked out about £600 the lot. Well worth doing runs cleaner starts absolutely on th button.

I did my old sabre 330 injectors. It completely changed the exhaust note to the motors. To the point where even the original boat owner commented, that.... 'That was the sabre sound' he remembered.
