Inflation Problems, would Viagra help?

Hi Gurus,

I have a slow leek in my very old rubber dinghy.

I am in the Caribbean and when the sun shines and heats up the dinghy, it forces some air out through the slow leak. When the sun goes down, the air contracts and it goes all wrinkly and soft.

It was possible one time to buy an aerolos can that could be sprayed into motor car tyres to repair a slow puncture. Would something like this work on my dinghy.

The leak is under the tube, between the tube and the rubber floor of the dinghy and probably impossible to patch effectively.

Also I am at anchor and rely on the dinghy to get ashore and back. I think that most glues take 24 hours to set?

Solutions should bear in mind that I am in an underdeveloped part of the world.

All suggestions welcome.

I tried the aerosol stuff once. It seemed to work for a while. But after a few weeks it either gave way or I developed another leak. Whichever it was I gave in and got a new dinghy.

Me too - I tried the repair solution for hyperlon dinghies - squirted it in, swirled it around. A few days later it had gone down again. I made a few attempts at it but gave up in the end. It wasn't cheap either!

I think I can fix it. Just send the air fare. Oh yes I maight have to test it over a couple of weeks and assume that you can provide accomodation??
