Inflatable water tank safe or not?

We do not drink the water from flexible water tank, but use it for most other jobs aboard (cleaning, cooking, washing,...). Why we are not drinking it? Because we prefer it sparkling :).

We usually clean it using simple denture cleaner ("Corega Tabs").

One more thing: When we renewed the flexible tank, we deliberately went for a much smaller one to increase turnover. So less time for the water to go bad. 50L are absolutely sufficient for us for a few days without a marina.

I think the general consensus is if its stood for such a long time change the bladder. So I think I will do this. But as for drinking from it I think the Jury is still out when I get my new one I think boiled drinks will be fine but for cold will follow the sparkling route above:encouragement:

No it's sodium hypochlorite

Milton makes several products. We are both correct. The tablets are dichloroisocyanate. At the end of the day, it is hypochlorite ion.

Also, Milton is a bit more complicated than "just bleach." It contains buffers to keep it in the most effective pH range, which it turns out is quite important (Google it). You can do this on hour own, but hey pre-package it.
