I have broken one of the valves on my Wetline inflatable and am having trouble repairing it! The valve is a Halkey Roberts valve and it's the central spindle that has broken (actually the yellow part broke which resulted in it and the spring falling off and the spindle falling into the inflation compartment :( )

Anyway, I can't find anyone selling those items as spares - and, to be honest, I'm not sure how easy it would be to instal as the spindle would have to be fitted from the inside.

That being the case, I guess I need the inside (male) part of the valve so that i can replace that entire unit. Again, I can't find anyone selling just that part, so it looks like I will have to buy the whole valve fitting and just use the male part that I need.

OK but then my problem is removing the male section of the existing valve. I have found a website in the good old US of A that sells a special wrench tool but I cannot find one for sale in the UK

Does anyone have any ideas where I might be able to source such a tool - or even the particular parts of the valve that I need?

Thanks

Thanks for the advice.

DAKA, looking at the picture of the Zodiac fitting, I'm pretty sure it won't fit the HR valve.

Penfold, I couldn't find anything on the Polymarine site.

However, after some more site-hopping I tracked down what I need at RIB Store. They have a valve spanner that will fit and they also do the replacement valves, so I can get it all in one place.

Thanks again.
