What is the best glue, sorry adhesive, for repairing my inflatable? Not punctures, reattaching fittings that are starting to come adrift.
I'd prefer adhesives without any boaty words on the can, as I am sure that will add 50% to the price :D:D

Get the proper stuff. There are two types, one for Hypalon and one for PVC. Most chandlers stock kits or you can buy on line from Polymarine.

If you want the repair to last longer than Englands chances in the World Cup, only use either PVC or Hypalon 2 part adhesive. Available from Ribshop. Rib Store or IBS (Polymarine products).

You are right about the marine bit adding price as well, the single part PVC glue you see for sale in chandlers is actually just Bostick, but its for temporary repairs only.

Thanks. I think you know what is coming next! Does anyone know what it is likely to be made out of?
It is a Narwhal, of unknown age because I got it off Ebay, about 3.5m long and orange.
Is there an easy way to tell PVC from Hypalon? I presume it does matter.

Check with Polymarine. May list your boat but they have a guide as to how you tell the difference.
