I'm after a cover to keep the weather off my little 3m rib while it sits on its trailer. In has a console and 15hp outboard on the back. I tried a cheap cover from eBay but it was rubbish and fell apart in a few months.

I could get be made from canopy material, but wondered if there are any good generic covers worth looking at first.

Cheers

98 views and not a single recommendation. Does no one else cover their dinghy, or are all covers rubbish?

Brought a new cover for our Zodiac yachtline rib from Barnet marine center ltd , fitted perfect, In fact swmbo said it was too good to

leave on all the time , so we are still using the old one :)

We have a problem with sea gulls

Those Bartnet ones look v expensive, think I'll give the ducks back ones a go. Found a thread on here with some quite good comments.

Thanks all

We had one made by BHG marine in Lymington for our Zodiac 310, they had it made to pattern by another, I think, local company. From memory the tag on the cover is "Sea----something". It's a good job and fits well with a perimeter tensioner and 2 x under belly straps. Might be worth a call and just asking how much, sorry it was included in some other work and I can't remember how much was for the cover.

Every cover I have is destroyed by the Med sun in one season or less. What I did see was a dingy with a custom cover for the inflatable tubes only. This is the perfect solution as it means you don’t have to faff about putting on an off the cover , it lets rain water flow unimpeded and protects the tubes from claws when the dog comes onboard

Does anyone know where to get one (that won’t cost more than the dingy)?

I always make several small holes to let the water pass through, it’s hard to stop puddles especially if sometimes you have the outboard attached and other times removed
