Inflatable Dinghy 2.9m \"V\" hull from Lidl £149

Two years ago I bought an inlfatable dinghy Wetline V hull 2.9m from a chandlery for £500 plus. Same dinghy today from Lidl for £149, plus storage bags etc. Bargain; I bought one.

Why did you buy another one, are you intending breeding from them? Or did the first one fall to pieces?

Ok you got me... I couldnt help but have a look at it and its not on there site as far as i can see. is Friday 13th the same as April 1st where you come from?

we have them here in Cardiff area in all Lidls. Look at the catalogues.

Lidl do this often, usually with bankrupt stock rather than cheap repeatanle specials.
We bought 7 Protex 6kg Extinguishers at a fiver each - just an opportunity purchase, not advertised.
Also bought not advertised Ex British Steel Challenger jackets at 30 quid a pop.

No mystery or intrigue just pot luck.

Sorry, I too have looked at their site and cannot find anything boaty, even though my nearest branch is a seaside town? Do please give me a clue, or can we organise for you to get one for me?

What has happened, is that a local Cardiff Chandlers bought loads of chinese inflatables and tried to sell them locally for £500 - only ONE was sold, but nobody knows who bought it!
In order to prevent his firm from going t.ts up he contacted Lidl and pleaded with them to take them off his hands for £100 each, this they agreed to do!

the rest as they say...

It appears that only a few stores stock them; one of which is the Lidl in Newport South Wales; they had 8 this morning
