On Tuesday enjoyed a cruise in calm seas heading towards Fowey.
At 12.30 picked up a large discarded rope round port drive. Result lost drive in that leg. Limped back to falmouth on one engine.
By 4.30 boat lifted and large rope removed and something broken in leg. Premier Falmouth lifted. So blocked of for investigation. Duo props also very knackered.
Within the hour Falmouth Yacht Brokers have been to inspect and confirm a part in lower leg has done its job and broken up to save major expense within the leg had the drive shaft gone and need nw set of duo props.
On to insurance brokers, A-plan and insurer towergate. Yes its covered apart from excess (£300) get quotes along with claim form via fax and within 24 hours all aok including lift out and re-launch. Today all work completed and back in water 4pm tomorrow. Thats just three days from incident.

With everyone working together a fantastic outcome and all my costs were met without question and my insurance costs were far cheaper than anyone else I tried.
