Re: Flag

<font color=blue>See if I can explain for you. Firstly you need the picture you want to display sited on a webpage somewhere. It should be a GIF or JPG file and as small as possible. Then you type this.. (image)http://www.freeware.mcmail.com/atsea.JPG(/image) with two important differences. I. the address you place there is not what I have written but the address of what you want to show. 2. Instead of using these sort of brackets ( ) you use the square brackets like these [ ]. Your picture will then appear... look....

Names

Hi alistairr

Try searching for "names" in this forum, and I believe you may find some suggestions (some better than others).

Some that springs to mind right now are:

Tradewinds
Obsession
Wet Dream
Chasing Dreams
£ady
Velosity
Vixen

Oh, there must be 1,000's, but I have to do some work this morning.....

Hey, just found something.... go here for some ideas....

Re: Flag

Go into user options and peronal info and then just put the url in the picture box at the bottom, you don't need all that [image] markup there

Click on User Options (near the top of the screen) then click on Edit personal information, passwords etc and put the following line

http://www.rinkerboats.com/images/pic-cc232-sm.jpg

into the "Your Picture" section.

No need for any brackets or other clever stuff

Re: Flag

You have "squished" it, when changing the dimensions you have not maintained the aspect ratio and the boat has become short and tall.

You will need to crop your photo for the correct aspect at 65x75. I normally use Paint Shop Pro and crop out a 650 x 750 image from a larger one and then resize to 65x75 whilst maintaining the aspect ratio.

There are obviously many other ways of doing it, whichever you use, maintain the aspect ratio and it will not get squashed.
