Indian Spring?

Had a nice trip down to Killaoe tonight, left just at dusk and enjoyed an "indian" spring trip only 2 weeks after all the snow. OF now back at base. Hard to beleive today was actually February.

The water was glass flat like a mirror of turkish delight, the frog purred gently as we made the short 20 mile passage at a leisurely pace, arriving shortly after 2000hrs. It was such a lovely evening it seemed a shame to rush.

Great shots Froggie - but I do hope that it isn't an Indian spring coz for the last two years we have had excellent spring weather...the pre-cursor to bloody awful summers.

First trip of the year, one night yet it feels like I've been away for a few days - pure magic. As to predictions for summer weather, who knows, but this has been the first proper winter we've had for about eight years with plenty of frosty nights and heavy snow for a week earlier in the month, so hopefully it might be followed by a proper summer for a change.
