Yesterday 10th. March I left the shores of Scotland to seek new lands and adventures.
The ship was unready. The mast bolt only half in. Clevis pins missing from some shrouds.
No compass or VHF. .......

Like Joshua Slocum, Elzinor and Mr. D. Winter I decided to write a video blog about Sailing Alone Around the World.

Nice one, although I nearly had to stop watching, all that circumnavigating was starting to make me feel dizzy.
Shame that crowds didn't turn out to greet you on your return, didn't you tell them when you were due back? :)

Still, the Beauly Firth is a bonny place to be, even if your only motoring! I was doon in Snecky on Friday, and the hills looked ace covered in snow. Went back via Beauly. Just beautiful.

Inspirational.

I bet you have been sailing since you were an embryo and you are passionate about living your dream.

Where do I send the freebies?

Thanks. Dylan has nothing to fear, though. If the VHF had been working we might have thought you were responding to a PAN, PAN, PAN call! Enjoyed the fun.
