Was bought this a few months ago - a trmendous account of the true story behind Moby Dick, the loss of the whaleship the Essex. I admit to bias - my great grandfather was a Whitby whaler.

I read it about 3 years ago after it was the 'Book at Bedtime' on Radio 4. It's excellent.
