… the Rustler 36 has 5.
Which Rustler 36 are we talking about?
And it has 5 of what in it?
Is this a cryptic clue or sumpn'?

Leave the poor chap alone. He's finally found a way of not being demonstrably wrong.

On the contrary, he's totally wrong - there were 6 Rustlers in the Golden Globe.
Just what is Kelly asking, the boat that has the most water in it perhaps???In the Golden Globe race there there is one boat that has the most in it...

Why so many rustler 36s? Maybe it's the most appropriate modern british production boat but it's not just brits sailing them.
I quoted from a YBW article and I counted 5 not 6.
That limits the choice quite a bit.
Well they are having a rough time down there in the Southern Ocean just now.
Abhilash Tomy and Gregor McGuckin rolled and dismasted Tomy is injured.
Mark Slats experiences two major knock-downs.
Well it is obvious really !!.... Should have been allowed to go in some proper fat arsed AWB's with bolted on fin keels, spade rudders & open transoms. Not to forget fractional rigs. Would have all been round & home by now.-- Well home at least !!!It did seem a bit curious that 18 strongly built boats with experienced skippers set off, and less than half way round, nearly half the entrants have retired. Would probably make an interesting article to describe why the various skippers had to quit and what could have been done to prevent this.
The reason I mentioned the Rustler is there are often threads about what is the best boat for ocean sailingg.
