Night & day seems a bit ott / naff - are sound effects next ?? + the port & stb lights remind me of the display of an old CRT monitor that is on the blink. Wind data are there in shades of dark blue. A bigger polar is welcome though.
Have to say I'm not overly impressed with the night display.
To the point that I've gone back to the old client, dodgy polars or not.
All it will acheive is that those who have the time to spend constantly tracking the top boats will benefit. Your average joe public punter who maybe gets access for a few hours a day will rapidly disappear backwards down the fleet.
If anybody really doesn't like the night display, you can turn it off at the moment by altering your computer clock. If you alter the computer clock time zones then it is easier to revert to the correct time when you want to later.
I'm not sure if this will continue because the night feature was supposed to relate to the virtual boat times and not the player locations in real life.
EDIT - IT NOW RELATES TO BOAT POSITION SO IGNORE THE FIRST PARAGRAPH!!
