Well it's been exciting, crash crews, lots of Nurses, hi-tech equipment and now I am ensconced in a chair at the Royal Berks. I shall be here at least 2 weeks.

FYI: They don't publicise it too much but close relatives can get free parking for your length of stay. ASK!

As I have posted recently I have become very familiar with hospitals recently! Fortunately not me that has been treated. I wish you well and hope that you don't get too bored and that you come out soon with everything sorted.

boredom is a big psychological hurdle for a long stay, so use your tablet/laptop and learn to play mahjong, speak Mandarin, design a few websites, start an OU course in nuclear chemistry, read War and Peace properly this time


Nurses are wonderful people and really like telling you all the technical details of what they are doing to you
