I cannot remember how hot the heatwave of the 1970’s was, but this heatwave has been a little uncomfortable.

We have already seen pictures of Swiss villages being swamped by landfalls. I think it was something like this that caused the world’s longest-lasting tsunami that went on for something like ten days. A landfall, possibly in Greenland, caused the water in a fjord to slosh back and forth, and this went on for over a week, recorded by seismometers.
