Imray Tide Planner iPad App

I have used it for a number of years and have renewed for 2019. It is working fine. For foreign countries you do have to make a one time purchase to extend for more than 7 days. Have you put in your own ports and tapped at the bottom r.h.s to bring up the tide tables as opposed to the 1day screen.

Yes, I have it on both my phone and the iad, it works fine. Have you tried going into settings and at the bottom click restore extensions?
Yes Steve thanks - It was working fine with forward predictions as far as March this new year until today, when anything beyond today on the date selector is 'greyed'. I have 2018,2019, and 2020 extensions with hyrrographic and tidal atlas.

Yes - it only shows the week from today. as I said to Steve, I've got all the extensions, but the Date Selector won't work past today.........

I think there may be an issue with the app for certain users - I bought the UKHO licence which I thought allowed access to tide information as long as they supported the app for UK waters but I can currently only see today (not even 7 days). Looking at the reviews on the App Store there seems to be a few with this issue and the developer responds providing the following address for support - support@imray.com

I tried re-installing and restoring extensions all to no avail so have contacted the team. If you do get it working again please update us!

Edit:

Ok, so I’ve had a look on my phone and the app still works as it previously did on my iPad. The phone is on version 4.83 while the iPad has been updated to 4.90. Version 4.83 allowed any tide information for any year to be viewed using the UKHO licence (and this was my understanding when I purchased it) and viewing up to 7 days tides was free. However, as of 4.90 it looks as though they may now be expecting you to pay a yearly licence for 7 days of data for a given year and then buy the UKHO licence to view ouside of 7 days. If this is the case and not just a bug then I’d be pretty disappointed as it seems poor form to sell a product then remove functionality and try to recharge for it. Advice to others would be not to update your app.

As said above, you need to buy both the tides license for the year as well as the +7day extension. I bought the tides for 2017 but never really used it. Apart from the one day datails which is useful, there are so many free tidal prediction apps out there. What I do use the app for is the tidal stream atlas function which is a one off purchase and is brilliant.
