After watching last night's "Tom's Fantastic Floating Home" programme, I have decided that my boat will not be getting an armadillo tent or a hydroponics garden any time soon ;);)

What a load of rubbish.
I can't quite see why they based it around a boat.
I'm getting fed up of these shows with perky, sparkly-eyed, characters undertaking pointless projects less well than others have done. (James May did the weather balloon camera properly).
In fact it seems these are all Man Lab-alike programmes, but not very good.

Putting a stupid pram hood and hydroponic garden on a boat before ensuring the motor will start seemed a bit pointless. It seemed to suggest for all his wonderful inventive skills he is a bit ham-fisted.

And.......most importantly..........how much did the lift cost?

A flacid, lazy programme with yet another self publicist who, like so many, seems to take a perverse pride in being ignorant:- "I know nothing about boats, I've never owned a boat..."

Yet another player in this depressing "look at me" society.

+1, although you are being too positive about it..

Didn't see the programme but a hydroponic garden on my zombie-apocalypse-escape-vehicle (aka boat. or yacht depending on your point of view) sounds genius! Obviously I would need to construct 3 robots named after cartoon ducks to take care of it...

I liked the storyline in Silent Running too...
