Will it be safe to fly on Sunday? I am off to the Caribbean for two weeks with SWMBO. If its going to be dangerous for me to fly, then perhaps I should stay in here and offer the ticket free to a forum member. Aurora and SWMBO, I can't think of a better combination to be with for two weeks, great company and frightingly similar /forums/images/icons/laugh.gif

Saw plenty of it here on the Clyde last night; A big band of it right across the sky running East-West, a bit faint tho' like you say.

Its tiddling down as if on piece work in Cowplain, nothing to see. Mobile is fine, not tried the Magellan. Nothing in London this evening that I saw, same rain based reason, if the sky is ever visible anyway

Have you seen the pictures of displays in Kent and Southampton on internet? <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.metcheck.com/astronomy.asp>southampton here</A> Content changes often, so won't be there for long. Superb.

Great pictures, But unfortunatly i still haven't seen anything.

I think i may need to go hillclimbing tonight and pitch my tent, and keep an all night look out.

Or am i too late?
