"Was General Eigenvalue a South American dictator? or a mathematical vector term? I keep forgetting."

You seem to have a very skewed view on all of this but "General Eigenvalue "...i resolves to..."value ein large gin".....well .......almost...

Applescruffs,

you are indeed correct, jet fuel seems like something highly volatile in Hollywood films, but is in fact kerosene / paraffin.

On our first induction training we apprentices were shown a pool of jet fuel, a fireman threw in a lighted match and it just snuffed out.

However, kerosene or diesel in a mist spray was a whole different proposition and took serious extinguishers !

Oh, I get it now; that's the trouble on Sundays; too much wine with lunch, followed by a few gins and the odd liqueur; things do get confused; however, perhaps General Eigenvalue had the same problem ha,ha
