Trying to not have some awful early 04.00 start on our return from the Thames, might leave on the Saturday and break the
journey at Imperial/St Kats(ha ha)/Limehouse/South Dock before return to civilisation.
If Richmond lifts at 12.30 BST, no way to get to Kats by 15.05 ? so got to be Limehouse or stop at Imperial.
No overnighter prices on IMP website anybody know ?

Cheers Tony. £63.00 quid a day for me, would much prefer St Kats for exactly that money.
Limehouse is £40.00.
South Dock £30.00

Imperial Wharf do a discount for boat Club members, 10% last year for ATYC clubs.
Chiswick Pier is also good for a quick stop and if you are just stopping between tides its only £6.

They don't do the ATYC discount since those that were practicing for the River Pageant left without paying their mooring fees (allegedly). ;)

:) I got the discount last August but I don't have a Broom, but to be honest the place is nearly full of permanent moorers now so Chiswick is now a better option for a quick stop with just one boat.

Probably because the rehearsal organizers said in writing that they would be paying the fees. We paid Glyn the Piermaster direct and the organizers subsequently refused to reimburse.

I suppose it's supply and demand, but considering that Imperial has no loos, showers etc I find their charges unreasonably high; in mitigation they only claim to be a wharf and not a marina.

Seem to remember it only took a little over 8 hours non stop from Teddington to Chatham in the CLB and you should be able to do better than that - get through Richmond at 1230 BST and you should be home before dark !

Just wanting to break up the journey a bit really .
Better if you have a fast boat but with an olde plodder like mine, its a long old day.
Also useful to be able to have plan to go day later/earlier if weather looks uncomfortable.

I challenge anyone to find a more expensive mooring than Imperial Wharf in the UK. St Kats is a lot cheaper if you pay for a week and you expect to pay a premium for the location.
In the end though it is full and people pay it. I prefer Chiswick Pier myself at £20 per night.

Rising to your challenge I did a quick check of a few marinas in the Solent and to my surprise they were cheaper, approx £40 a night instead of £60-70 at St kats and Imperial
Wharf for a 39ft boat, so that would make them both the most expensive overnight berths in the country!
