imeller log speedometer

hey, im a novice to boating havin just got my first boat. its a bit of a doer upper and i need some advice on the speedo. i have the impellor mounted on the boat and the lead that runs from it. however there is no speedo head. there are loads for sale but i dont want to buy the wrong one. the end of the cable that plugs into the speedo head looks like a standard tv arial plug. can some one help.

this is the usual fitting for a digital log. many manufacturers will have the same, NASA, Raymarine and the rest.
