Always helps when taken later in the day and the fog has lifted :)

It was taken going over Canarfon bar.

I missed the best shot.....30 seconds later H had his depth alarm go off, seems Mucky can turn right very quickly as well :) once in deep water he buggered off and left me
and thats after Little Ship had dragged him around for about 4 days.

Must admit, I'm a bit surprised by some of the answers to this posting. Things go wrong and you fix them, why wouldn't you?
I wonder from the statement that "there is hardly a boat in the world with EVERYTHING working at once" whether this is representative of the boating community or whether I'm on my own in saying everything on my 8 year old S37 works!
I've found if you don't keep up with repairs things soon gets out of hand.

I with you there, everything works on my 11year old S24, anything that fails is sorted out, don't understand why anyone would just leave it.

Same here, my boat is only a 2003 model, but everything works 100%. Last boat was a 30 year old Princess 32, again, every single thing worked exactly as it should.

If i was selling a boat, i'd make sure that everything worked, or take it off.

Some buyers way be put off if too many things don't work. Could easily look like the boat was a bit neglected/poorly maintained. Even if some of the things are trivial, funny things, buyers.

In fairness to hlb, He knows all about this.
But his back an stuff is knackered so he can't do much himself
Hence his frustration with menders etc
