The great advantage of owning an old-tech outboard is that there is no kill-cord to forget.

If you saw the state of the poor lad at southampton boat show a few years back that fell out and got run over you would never step foot in one again without a cord.

He was bought back to shore with not a lot left of his chest and was a pretty distressing sight for those that saw.

such a waste for a 21 year old.
