I\'m OFF!!!

Now that David has decided to pack it in, I have decided I cannot live in the UK without the good larf he gave me everyday!!
Also, the "mortgage treadmill has lost it's appeal, - SO, I am "out of here".
Notice on job given.
Flight to Phuket booked.
From 10th Jan I am "sailing the world" until god knows when. I will either get fed up with the sea or it will get fed up with me!!
I am not quite doing a "Stingo" but I will try to keep you posted on the adventure nonetheless. Check out http//www.cloudninesailing.com from time to time if you are interested.
To all the forumites I have had the pleasure of meeting - "it was my pleasure and I will see you sometime".
To all those I haven't - "it would have been my pleasure and I look forward to meeting you sometime".

No not yet, any ideas? I doubt if anyone will be interested 'cos I believe there is some risk involved!
My kids would be pleased if I could sort something out.

Have some consideration for your fellow forumites man! You've no idea how fustrating it is to see posts like this when you want to be the one posting them. I will be restless and moody for days now and my family and friends will have to put up with me - no easy task! Have you no thought for what they will have to go through? and during the festive season and all that!!!!!

I am curious about what kind of gear you have on your yacht for downwind sailing?
For example, head sails, running strut, preventer type etc.
