It's been a serious struggle, to the extent that I was about to say "F**k this", but finally, she's been re-launched!

There was a big list of jobs apart from the usual maintenance, such as prop seals, new calorifier, new oven, replace eber exhaust, compound & polish, replace sections of teak platform... more that I can't even remember!

Miserable weather but supposed to pick up tomorrow... i'm heading off on a 30 mile adventure tomorrow mid-day where she'll stay for the summer...... can't waitttttt!

Looking great, N!

It's hard work but very satisfying once you see the boat in the water ready for the season, isn't it.

Enjoy the weekend!

Second that, boat looks great. When people comment in height of summer " you have a boat, that must be great", if only they knew the half of what we all go through to keep em looking great and running reliably :)

Well done. How did you get on with the teak in the end?

It's not 100% finished, but it's good enough to keep me going. The final OCD touch will be to cut out with a router some grooves on the smaller plank, so that I can put caulking down, to make it look less obvious that a bit was replaced. All in all, i'm happy with it, given that it only cost me the price of a few pints to do the job.

As I said previously, if I notice other sections de-laminating next year, i'll rip the whole lot out... I love playing with the multi-tool (ooh er!)

Looking lovely, well done. Currently working through list of jobs on boat I purchased last November. Getting there but some I just can't do myself, and boy can they eat money!!!!! Still worth it, heading out from Chichester either today or tomorrow for the Easter weekend

Never say never. A few years ago I wouldn't have thought I was up to some of the tasks i've completed, including coding the boat and doing all the work myself.

Even things like filling gelcoat scratches are easily done with a bit of research and the right tools.

There's some more pictures of the boat and our cruising ground on our website, www.corribcharter.com
