Went out sailing today, had to cut through the ice to get out of the marina, it was hell, I tell you...

ok, the ice was less than a millimetre thick, the sun was shining and hardly a breath of wind. But I was out and we got the sails up.

Just leave me with my illusions, can't you - who is this Ellen Macarthur, anyway?

Yesterday - here it was a beautiful day blue skys but minus -13c. Today plus +8c and blowing 7 cant win!
Walk across to the 'outlaws' for dining 1700hrs temp. minus - 13c. Return home 2400hrs plus +3c. 16 degree temperature change in 7 hours
