When I was stationed at RAF Bawdsey, we used to get alerts over the tannoy if someone had absconded from Holsely bay, and asked to be vigilant. Now it would be illegals. A great basis for playing the TV game "Hunted".

It sounds far, far more likely to have been drug smuggling than illegal immigration.

Since the pub car park has shown the vid when the car was dumped, the immigrants can be seen making off.

Carrying something could be a clue - er carrying a worthwhile package! Four men and two women not carrying anything significant shows they are not drugs smugglers. The drug smugglers would have had another vehicle to change to. The drug smugglers would not have used a videoed car park. Six people would not have trafficked drugs. Drugs smugglers would not have acted 'suspiciously' to make off when there is no immediate pursuit. Illegal immigrants need to blend into nowhere as quickly as possible.
