I think it only fair that I introduce mum before proceeding further with these arrangements

What do the kids look like!
service the engines and legs
Have you met oGaryo?(runs and hides)
Gary, is she really that hot?
Jimmy I understand the deal to be:
1. you spend 2 weeks working on the mini refit. One week the boat is in the yard, and one week it is in the water. The jobs list is in the post. OP pays the flights and food is shared. And there's a scooter for local errands.
2. Then after all that is done, you get 2 weeks use (specifically the last 2 weeks in April) of the now nicely fettled boat, bareboat I think but it is not crystal clear so maybe OP intends to skipper the boat. This is the holiday, and is the quid pro quo for helping with the refit. This is the "2 weeks rest and play" that is the "trade" for the two weeks' work
That's how I read it anyway.
I didn't see it like that.
I took it to read:
You will be here for 2 weeks. The first week will be spent ashore cracking on with a few jobs.
The second week is holiday time where OP plus new friend will enjoy a week afloat finishing off any jobs which didn't get sorted whilst ashore as well as a little bit of electrical fault finding / sorting.
Any time not spent working you are free to enjoy the use of the scooter. But you will be working most of the time.
Fuel used during holiday / commissioning is to be split between OP & new friend.
Just as a guide it took a good week working well into the night to mop and polish our new 2012 Princess 50. To be fair we did a good job but there is a lot of glass fibre.....
We didn't paint any windows.

OK, so there is no "I'll trade two weeks (last two weeks of April) for one week in the boatyard and one week afloat"? There is no trade of 2 weeks work for two weeks holiday? There is only one "two weeks" to begin with.I didn't see it like that.

Not arguing with you Henry. Just amused at the lack of clarity![]()
OK so what's going on? First you pimp your gorgeous mum and as soon as someone offers a bit of business you chicken out. I have to say I'm disappointed. Clearly big shaft drivers have more machismo than short leg hoppers.
not at all, here's her contact details. I've given her the heads up that you're gonna call. 08448 700462
p.s. if someone answers professing to be a member of the gay outdoor club, it'll be mum. She has to put up a front to deter the stalkers you see, she's attracted a few over the years, her alluring beauty has its downside I'm afraid.
