Ile d'Yeu - Port Joinville - no visible water

Rafted six deep tonight - there's very little water which doesn't have a boat on it and still they're arriving. They'll be stacked on the finger berths next! It's not really even proper 'high season'yet - is it?

There is a beautiful bay to the south of the island ( out the marina , turn right, right past the headland. Beautiful and better than joinville. There is a good fresh fish shop in town !

Got turfed out there because a race was due in. They were obviously going to be really tight to do that. The problem was that it was blowing a gale outside and the almost instant transition from flat water to 3 metre waves as you left the harbour was quite intimidating...
