I have actually gone to the trouble of finding out how to ignore some posters here.

It is rather sad, but some of the stuff is just too far to stretch good taste and patience.
 
You may report any post you consider to be personally abusive, and each instance is reviewed. Sometimes action is taken, other times not.
 
In the PBO section? Wow...

I made the mistake of advocating TekDeck in the Classic Boats forum and attracted some disapproving comments! In my defence, I had got there via the "Today's Posts" list and didn't realise what forum I was posting in!

I don't bother to 'ignore' people because if ever I'm feeling a little down or my self esteem is a bit low then I can go on the YBW forum and read stuff by people who are even more stupid and even more f****ed up than I am and I instantly feel better. Much cheaper than a shrink.
