sorry for this post.

although our trip across to poole on Monday was rough - only F4 but a much worse sea than that might suggest - the horn (above my radar dome) was bent by a wave, the nose buried, the wave went up the windcsreen, up the canopy and right over the top. Camera wasn't out that day.....

Ah, that was an "I'm glad I tied that on" bit of rope.

On the end of it, in the water on the port side of the boat, is the uninflated dinghy which was put on the foredeck and we sat down for a beer before pumping it up.

The 2 ropes forward were in preparation for picking up a buoy but we anchored.

Sounds as though the wave coming up over the top was a bit of an "interesting" moment.

The wave was indeed interesting, would not have wanted to be beam onto it. Very odd for only a F4.

Will be on Evia from Wednesday to borrow some of your sunshine.

Ah top stuff!!

It's not too bad at the moment, heat wise it's quite bearable, a tad windy though...I hear it's getting hot from Thursday...but if you are on holiday and not in work then that's no great shakes...plenty of swims and the odd cold beer should keep your core temp down
