If the sun doesn't shine soon....

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Add a bit of alcohol with that and your ex-boyfriend is gonna be a happy man again. Not sure about the current one though.

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Nope.

Lovely sunny morning here in Aberdeen /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

watch yer nuts

The sun has got his hat on
Hip hip hip hooray
The sun has got its hat on
And he's coming out today!

Now we'll all be happy
Hip hip hip hooray
The sun has got his hat on
And he's coming out today!

He's been roasting peanuts
Out in Timbuctoo
Now he's coming back
To do the same for you

So jump into your sunbath
Hip hip hip hooray
The sun has got his hat on
And he's coming out today!

Joy bells are ringing
The song birds are singing
And everyones happy and gay!
Dull days are over
We'll soon be in clover
So pack all your troubles away!

The sun has got his hat on
Hip hip hip hooray
The sun has got his hat on
And he's coming out today!

Now we'll all be happy
Hip hip hip hooray
The sun has got his hat on
And he's coming out today!

All the little girls excited
All the little boys delighted
What a lot of fun for everyone
Sitting in the sun all day!

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

I always get to feel that way during Nov and Dec as the days shorten, but heh! We are the right side of Xmas, it is now still (just) light at 5.00pm, we have started Feb, end of this month we will be 4 weeks away from nice long days, getting the boat ready for the summer. You know scapeing, antifouling, etc, look what we have to look forward to!

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Feel a pain, get on a plane....think of all that sunshine just a few hours away and waiting to caress your bikinied-up body. Just slap on the factor 15!!

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

I agree! Off down to Falmouth to see Ellen home next week, that should cheer me up and inspire me! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Thats when a press pass comes in handy! But I expect there will be 600,000,000,000 journalists there as well. Let us know if you do head down and maybe we could hook up for a pint and one of those strange pastry pies they have LOL

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

I can get a press pass too if I wanted but it doesnt change the fact that there will be thousands of people there.
Always up for pints and pasties. Lived in Falmouth for a few years so know where to get the bost of both!

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Press Boats are a bonus though. Not to fussed about the crowds as it will probably create a really good atmosphere, plus it will be a nice welcome home for Ellen. I hope to discover your pastie and pint recomendations. If memory serves me correctly there is a good Indian restuarant nearby run by Nepalese dudes.

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Yep!! One of my nicknames back in the late sixties by one certain young lady was Mr Sunshine! I just love the sun, but I am fair skin and ginger I used to have a ginger afro style hair like Jinger baker from cream and jimi hendrix I was thin as a rake when I turned sidways I looked like a ginger candy floss on a stick.....!! ah! back to the old hippy days.............at least I think I was there or maybee not........"out of sight man!!!!!!!! " Spent a couple of years in the west country very nice.

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Have a look at your own site. Didn't know that B&Q was the same as Orange II! /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

There is a Nepalese restaurant on The Moor near the main Post Office - clearly signed externally.

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Bob, at the moment Ellens news goes in the Record atempt section, so does orange. As Ellen left first time she got her boat in there and when she finishes orange will take over.

Re: If the sun doesn\'t shine soon....

Every day when I wake up and see it's gray and miserable outside again, I count off another day on the calendar until 1 March when I fly out to the hot and sunny (it will be, won't it?) Canaries for a week's tall ship crewing. You've just got to have something to look forward to.
