The comparison between the turbo link given earlier and VP is over £1500 difference for my D6-330s.
Nah, they're K26's used on loads of cars over the years, back from the Porsche 944 and the like.probably coz the MAN engines are used in loads of other stuff so they make and sell lots of turbos.
The KAD’s are ground up marine engine so we get walloped
Dunno then...they don’t even come painted green! ?Nah, they're K26's used on loads of cars over the years, back from the Porsche 944 and the like.
Correct.Borg Warner are the parent company of KKK

I was just wondering about the yellowing paint, but isnt that the intake side? They yellowing Porto. Is that not excessive EGT? Better check for wobble n shite before youre robbed by the French

Hang on those appear original, I have not had the need to replace ......just out of idle curiosity googled them .The €2K ones seem to me pretty decent value as they are new + 2 year guarantee, with 24 Del to boot .You mean the French already robbed him? Class!![]()
At the moment I’m putting this down to over temp due to dirty props, boat wouldn’t plane so I cleaned everything and back to normal planing and speed for 5 mins before it went pop, it was only around 4 weeks since the props were last cleaned, talking to one of the maintence guys that look after a cigarette with arnesons and he cleans them at least every 10 days.
Yep it becomes a routine ,At the moment I’m putting this down to over temp due to dirty props, boat wouldn’t plane so I cleaned everything and back to normal planing and speed for 5 mins before it went pop, it was only around 4 weeks since the props were last cleaned, talking to one of the maintence guys that look after a cigarette with arnesons and he cleans them at least every 10 days.
If you can reasonably assume that this was the culprit, I can't for the life of me think of any logical reason why only one cylinder bank should have generated much higher than normal EGT.At the moment I’m putting this down to over temp due to dirty props

Therefore, in your boots I'd definitely want to have all turbos carefully inspected.
Besides, I'd be concerned also about the integrity of the exhaust pipes, whose dry section is pretty long.
At least, as far as I can understand from the pic below, which you previously posted.
Trouble is, with that type of insulation a proper inspection is a helluva job...
Good luck!

duplicate .....WiFi issues .
Let’s just hope it’s only one , because of the exhaust pipe age lending itself to some unequal ness , something along back pressure lines ?If you can reasonably assume that this was the culprit, I can't for the life of me think of any logical reason why only one cylinder bank should have generated much higher than normal EGT.
