So what do you grab when you're jumping into the life raft? Not that I have my own - yet..

I just looked at my small collection of CD's 'n thoght about a Heliograph... They are perfect for the job.
I'll stuff an old "aol" one in the grab bag. ;-) ;-)

Off to finish the winter's work the sun is shining.

If you've got anything like a decent liferaft the survival bag already has a heliograph mirror in it, so you could save some weight by leaving that old aol CD behind! Make sure you go belly up on a sunny day.

by the time you need to get it serviced for the first time aol will allready have bought the company and will be replacing the normal mirror with trial cd's as they do seem to get everywhere nowadays.
