If I Ever Get Better.

Dont think theres a navigationist between you. I recon you'd finish up in Portmadog.

Kinnel, yer not wrong there!
But I would like to say, Porthmadoc is a beltin place to end up in!:D

Did I ever tell you about the time I set off for Weymouth and Mucky took us to Poole!!

Yes 15 times already an I don't want yer ter tell me agin, less it's 'reversed charges already'

I'm going to take MF to Scotland and sod the fuel costs. Did it with her previous incarnation. It was hardly any distance at all, mind it was about twenty odd years ago. Went from Puffwelly, ended up in Tobermory.

This time it will be from Conway. I know which way I went last time. But which way would you go. It dont have to be the quickest, just the nicest, probably do Crinnan, then up to Oban and Tobermory. Dunno after that, theres no rush to get back.... Um Caladonian sounds interesting. But were not oing al the way round the country, so have to come back. Or flog the boat up there, which is what happened last time.

So rather than me tell folk which way to go, you tell me. We're not made of money, on the other hand we are not short. Not keen on marinas, but do like some sort of facillities as health ait that good.

well its taken micheal douglas 6/8 months to get better so it says in papers yesterday so you should do it as he has all that extra stress from keeping the darling buds happy shes bound to throw some tantrums being a celebrty !

Nah yer wouldn't. You'd go up the Severn estuary, past Cardiff, then down t'other side past Weston-Super-Mare, unless you went up the Severn, but obviously you're supposed to stick to the salty stuff.
Course is goin' alright, I think!

Well, at least that's a bit more better like
Obviously the course notes an charts are workin.
'Port Stanley' -- an the RYA

I have ter larf
Met swmbo in 'H M Stanley' a hossie named after the Explorer guy
Who eminated from the same place that was a workhouse many moons ago
'Livingstone I presume' an all that.

See, awld Stanley and Livingstone must av been good navigaters an all that.
To get themselves 'up the jungle'.

Where 'no white man had gone before'.

Imagine

The Headlines
If Livingstone had the Helm of MF?

'Up the Zambeezie, dead easy',-- from our roving reporter Mr Livingstone.

'Mucky just bashed the river an the little small arrow throwin gits out the way'
But He did add (Mr Livingstone) 'the natives where rather nasty an spoke a wierd lingo, not like what I do, an we needed a 'thinghie' mended and all the 'thinghie' menders are away with the mixer and unreliable an seem to have rotten teeth an talk funny like':D

We get lost regularly on the Severn. I struggle with fork side and knife side.

Forkin ell, the last thing yer need ter do is meat up with MF!
Specially in a Canal, PaulGooch dunna be suggestin stuiff like that, although!

Would be summat of a thread on any Canal Forum thinghie
See, H an Debs are legends at the inland stuff
So I,m reliably told;)

have you got one of those AIS devices on Mucky, H ?

When you set off, we could all then look on one of those AIS spy websites, see where the boat is going, then phone you up and let you know where you are.

afiak , there aint one on MF.
Then again I aint travelled through all the bilges an 'dark
places' I think.
Although, on good authority I am told I haven't visited all such crannies cos there are fags hidden in a crevise I aint found yet!
So, maybe there is such a device
But whether t owner of said vessel has done the RTFM an managed to switch it on is another story I reckon!

MF dont like Kernals, bashed her head on a bridge once and has to breath in half the time. Crinnan canal is OK though, the bridges open like farmers gates.

She had a go at the Lancaster canal, but only got about six foot up it.

Mind she did her best. http://lancastercanalboatclub.org/boatsgallery01.html

Dont think this will work..

The cancer stuff was easy sorted. It's the leg stuff, that dont work. MF's no problem, She just goes off and does her own thing. Always arrives somewhere, on the button.

The problem is from Preston to Aboard. IS a hundred mile drive, then a big walk .MF can get to Scotland all on her own. She just needs me to press a big red button for her turns.
