it wd be 3 to 8 three times the price of a normal boat, but all the new target market wouldn't have a clue about the normal price of one.

I saw this thread and decided not to become involved, as I have three floors in my house, and a Dyson on each. But I am now seduced into giving a reply.
So, one can deduce that for ordinary women they are too heavy, otherwise I wouldn't need three. On the other hand, skillful marketing, perhaps?
I can use them easily, as they fit around my furniture with minimal problems, I can find places to keep/store/park them on each floor without much trouble.
I find them generally reliable, and if there is a problem, I can usually sort it out.
So, if Mr Dyson designed a yacht, you can see where I am heading.
It would be probably quite heavy, so would feel stable and steady in a seaway.
It would be easy to moor in a marina which is where it would be most likely to spend most of it's time, and it would be easy to maintain, with access to all important areas.
But most important of all, we would all be buying them.

I would be without doubt the best yacht on the market, though not as easy to sail and as good looking as Steve Job's iYacht, every now and then you would loose performance, but after a bit of a clean underneath it would leave every other boat standing.
After a few years you would be thinking of upgrading it as you'd lost a few bits and the sails and engine felt worn out, but then you hear that for £50 Dyson will come out to your mooring and replace any lost bits, change the sails and engine then overhaul the thing so it was like a new boats again, even if it was the first model they sold ten years ago.

Sorry to spoil the party, we once owned a Dyson, it went in the bin after about two years, biggest pile of crap I've ever had to say I parted with money to own! It just fell apart. So If Mr DYson was to design a boat, I would stay well clear as would most likley sink!

Bide my words ----- EX !! Ok so it sucked right till full and maybe a bit better than your average vacuum cleaner .... but the price - sorry could never justify that. BUT when she needed it repaired - they literally rebuilt it free of charge ....
Now onto a boat by Dyson .... somehow I think the Dyson approach would be a disaster .... !!

Excellent Pie.
Shame there's not much detail as I heard the anchor chain wraps round the hull. I was hoping it would be a different system where you pull out as much as you need and when it's time to retrieve the anchor you would press a little grey button and it would just 'suck' itself back in. Have to mind your eyes as the anchor comes flying over the bows..........
