TheBoatman, then I will be on the RNLI stand from 9-2 tomorrow (Tuesday).
I shall be the dumb looking one that after 35+ years of boating still hasn't got a clue and has much to learn.

Best wishes for the tin-rattling. Could you tell someone there to show some flexibility with the fund raising? I was talked out of joining by some Jobsworth who told me that I couldn't specify which day of the month the DD was taken from my account. Haven't they heard of Give As You Earn schemes or a DD taken on the same date each month?

If you can supply me with address, bank details and charity number (of the RNLI, not you) I'll join and pay by GAYE. If I can't join by GAYE then the RNLI doesn't deserve the money.
