Oh Bu***r.

It was a lovely day today, I was doing jobs on the boat, putting sails on, replacing the sprayhood which got shredded in December's gales, etc. Importantly it was warm(ish) and dry.

Well at least two ol' gits have not forgotten how to sail.
A good couple of hours on the water with a great skipper who let the 'crew' do stuff, and he made the tea also. Ooops probably have given too much away now and ruined what reputation moodysabre has/had.

First wind/sunburn of 2014.

Many thanks for the Float.

Who else came out with you 2 then :o

Had a pleasant drift downriver.
Once we passed Landguard a very pleasant 12-15kts of breeze appeared.
Beam reach to Medusa and back.

Somehow, mid-week sails seem more enjoyable.
Must be because there was hardly anyone else about.

A big thank you to the Harwich Pilot boat which slowed down as is passed us by (drifting with sails up near N Shelf) - sped up again once clear off us.
Very considerate and most appreciated. If you hadn't, we might have spilled our drinks. :o
