An acquaintance of mine has just parquet floored the deck of his Twister. He thinks its a teak deck (long time since he last saw a real one ) should I tell 'im?

Of course you should, if he's told too late there won't be any comeback on the suppliers.
Mind you it will probably last longer as already said and it can be polished up nicely.

In an age......
...when you are expected to have your driveway paved with cheap bricks, your house floored with ghastly - doesn't fool anybody "clic" laminate flooring and you are expected to have two white preferrably leather sofas in front of your mock georgian fireplace upon which to watch your silver coated plastic plasma screen TV, it's refreshing to hear of an individualist once more.

Try using a wax (aerosol acceptable) polish on the fridge. NOT the cooker (fire risk) top.

Assume its a "sprung" floor them, does it have to be treated with chalk.
