I have recently bought a sailing boat which has a single axle American Trailer.
At some time in the UK the trailer has had a new axle complete with brake drums. brake shoes, seals & wheel bearings which I believe would have been a UK product.
I want to buy a set of spares, brake shoes, wheel bearings & seals.
I enclose a photo of the brakes with the brake drum removed.
I believe that although there may be 20 boat trailer manufacturers there are only about 4 axle manufacturers.
(and when I bought a French "Satellite" boat trailer I found that the axles were the same as fitted to Ivor Williams Horse Trailers)
I wonder if anyone from looking at the photo of the brake shoes could identify which make of axle it could be ?
On the inside of the brake drum casing there is "200 PEAK" which lead me to think it was a Peak Trailer Axle, but after sending photos to Peak they were unable to identify it.
Thanks

If it says Peak, it will be Peak Trailers, ...https://www.peakdynamics.co.uk/products/product-range.aspx?gid=9fc3300c-eb23-4a6b-9663-e2c178119e87

It is Peak Dynamics I have sent the photos to who say they are unable to identify if the axle is one of theirs.
The axle although it looks new could be 10 years old and is a 4 stud wheel nut axle, whereas today all their axles for larger trailers have a 5 wheel stud wheel

The backplate may be made by Knott. There's a similar one shown here - Left Hand Backplate 200x50

Note that there are two very similar sizes, 200x50 and 203x40, so you need to check the size of yours before ordering bits.

That backplate certainly looks about right.
