Hi,

One of the foils on my Aerogen has snapped off (terminal foil meet oar incident)

I was pretty annoyed at the time... but it looks like spare parts are still available for the aerogen models.

Only I am not entirely sure which model I have, could be a aero2gen or a aero4gen... how do you tell?

Thanks in advance.

If its an Aerogen 2, I may have a set of new blades in the spares pile, (garage) that may be of interest to you - cheaper than buying a new set as I think you have to replace them all if one goes!

They have balance markings, so just make sure opposites are the same.

If you need the power take 2 more blades out and use it as a 3 bladed fan - not something you can do with a 5 or 3 bladed unit. When we bought ours, way, way back LVM told us each blade set was a matched set, each was numbered and we had to assemble them in a specific order. Someone liked our original model so much they took it and we had a new one, insurance, from ITT, no mention then of a matched set for the new unit but you might find that a new blade is a different weight to the originals. It took us some time to match our news blades, we initially had a lot of vibration but juggling about overcame this.

ITT, who bought Aerogen, or LVM, did stock but did away with the AeroAquaGen unit. I believe they moved manufacture to China.
