Identify - L class or not?

At first glance thought this was a Laurent Giles Lymington 'L' class (1930s forerunner of the Vertue) but the coachroof is not right at least for the original plans. Is it one of the very rare "revised L class" from the 1950s?

It certainly looks like it: not so pretty, but more practical use of space / headroom.
