Ideas for winter mooring location

I recently upgraded to a Contest 41, part of which was with the idea of moving it South in the winter from Dartmouth to act as a floating holiday home somewhere with a bit better weather and easy flights over the winter months. Maybe Algarve, Spain or Morocco were the initial ideas but maybe somewhere a bit closer to home this year.


Anyone do similar and have any recommendations?

Nothing wrong Dartmouth in the winter.

Seriously, I'd be thinking of the Canaries rather than the Iberian Peninsular or Morocco.

Dartmouth is still good in the winter except for the weather. We enjoy a bit of warmth in the long cold and wet months.
