So, I finally managed to do some sailing. Due to various commitmets had to keep it short.
So:
Friday: Blackwater - Shotley
Saturday: Shotley - Ramsgate
Sunday: Ramsgate - Shotley (I could leave later and have more wind, as it was blowing in the afternoon)
Monday: Shotley - Blackwater
Very enjoyable, lessons learned (rope around propeller is not a myth!), too much engine (17 hours), but at the same time, it builded my confidence towards the engine.
Chartplotter is a very useful tool for navigation, I have to learn not to depend on it too much!
