Ideas for a 25ft (ish) Cuddy

thanks for your thoughts on the 250 Lisa, I did call Southwater Marine last week about another boat, still waiting for the call back. If I was going for a cruiser its definately one I would think about and I may well end up going that route, but not sure I will get that initial power for towing ringos/skiers etc with a diesel.

Never towed skiers etc but if it helps, she does 20-25 knts comfortably. dont know if thats an ok speed for that but if so, i guess it would be quite costly on the fuel which would be the downside. I know David was out all last week so maybe worth giving him a call back as he's back now.
Good luck with whichever you decide upon.

I have a Larson 240 and happily spend a few days on it when just the two of us.

Our next boat will probably be a similar size but won't have the covers to handle and will have heating!!!!!!!!

I would look at something like a Merry Fisher 805 with a diesel, room to kip, heating and patio doors to shut out the horrid weather!

Thanks for the replies, I think the twin diesel karnic will be a bit too expensive! Anyway this thread seems to have evolved more into what 25ft sportscruiser instead of what cuddy/sportsboat but I guess this is because there is not many of what I am looking for out there.

I'm trying to keep an open mind though so will have to look at as many boats as possible!

Matt, call or PM me. I have some nice options coming up. As I said on the phone, I don't sell boats, but have some interesting inside tracks.
