I\'d just like to say how wonderful my B & Q powertools are

In fact, if it wasn't for my B & Q powertools I don't think I'd have been able to build my boat at all. My B & Q powertools have performed faultlessly and I would recommend them to anyone. B & Q powertools are excellent quality and are available at unbeatable prices from your nearest store.

I have no connection with the company, B & Q, other than being the recipient of lots of wonga in the form of sponsership for my latest jolly. However, this should in no way cloud your descision making process when evaluating the fantastic value for money that B & Q powertools offer.

Go for it!

Funny the last power tools I bought from B&q were crap. Mind others have been OK. Have a funny feeling you work for BQ Or at least are besoted by them!!!

Especially when your neighbour is a member of their staff and he buys everything I need from them and passes on his huge staff discount to me.

So I have to agree that B & Q powertools are the best and it's because they are the cheapest.

Re: I\'d just like to say how wonderful my B & Q powertools are

The mem managed to lose the charger for my drill. (I left it on charge in the kitchen - silly me.)
Off to Messrs. King & Fisher's emporium to buy another one. Charger - £22. New drill with battery, case and charger - £27.
I now have a drill for the boat and one for the house, and carry two batteries and a charger between the two.
So I'm chuffed... but where are the economics?

WEll. I must say I bought my first 12v drill from B&Q several years ago and it's been one of the best tools I've ever bought. I use it for everything, it's a bit battered now; picked up another at a boot sale for £2 recently, which unfortunately has a knackered battery. Wonderful tools!!

Got my last one from Screwfix. Saw it a week later in B&Q for 50% more.

Re: I\'d just like to say how wonderful my B & Q powertools are

May I suggest you do what I did with a knackered battery pack for my B&Q 12v drill. Remove the old cells from the case and connect a goodly length of cable instead with cigarette lighter plug on the other end.

I can now use my drill for ages connected to a small portable 12v power supply anywhere I need to. It was the reason I bought a 12v drill instead of the more powerful ones available.

It has worked fro me.

Copy of e-mail received by B&Q customer services:

Dear Sir/Madam

My congratulations to you on getting a yacht to leave the UK on 28th
November 2004, sail 27,354 miles around the world and arrive back 72
days later.

Could you please let me know when the kitchen I ordered 96 days ago
will be arriving from your warehouse 13 miles away?

Yours Sincerley

Best of Luck

I ran something of a similar vein when expressing delight over the Fenderstep I got a couple of years ago - got bugger all back for all that.
