In changing the Cav diesel filter on my Thorneycroft T90 BMC for a cleaner spin-on type I found the ports in different places. The line from the lift pump, return from the injector, feed to the injection pump were all ok, but the return from the injector pump was too short.
That's not a problem... I just need a longer length of tube. The problem is the lines, both high and low pressure are made up of a black plastic tube with quarter inch OD metal ends with compression fittings. The plastic tube appears to be heat-shrunk on the metal tube.
My normal suppliers of parts (ASAP) hasn't come across this set-up before. A local hydraulic specialist has heard of the product but doesn't stock it.
Do any forumeers know what I have... and where to get some lengths of the stuff. Its a lot tidier that multiple compression fittings and is more flexible than metal tube.
It must be good stuff... no leaks after 20+ years.

The description is very ambiguous. It sounded like the plastic coated copper used for auto LPG but it might be something else.
