Many of us in Europe have the (now discontinued) Icom IC-M801e SSB radiotelephone, while in the US and elsewhere they generally have the IC-M802. As there are quite a few differences I started a group to share info and ask questions specific to this radio. The group already has has manuals and the beginnings of an FAQ but it will be what the users make of it.

No wonder I can't flog my M800.
 
The M800 is not so common, but I sold my M710 for a reasonable price (they are ideal for land based Winlink/Sailmail shore stations for example as they can operate continuously at full power). Interestingly the new Icom marine MF/HF RT is called GM800. I bet that will be really expensive.
